seems like i've been abandoning my blog for quite a while =(
well...i've been busy u see...

everytime when i'm back in my room i'll be slacking around
n i'll find someway to convince myself im too tired to study tonight

so far...it's still like this lor
oh...i finally experienced the my dying day - wednesday in full force!
it was yesterday...
1st i had lab at 9am...
oh god...the lab....
i dont know anything at all! n this lab we dont have TA's to demonstrate to us
just....Start...like that...
each of us has 1 fume hood...the box thingy u do ur chem experiments in
is like...rows n rows of fumehoods =.="
n have to do everything inside that pathetic small box!
super hard lerh...imagine setting up ur retort stand inside
n we have to synthesis the methyl salicilate crystals
gosh...i did sooo many mistakes
cuz no TA...i missed out lots n lots of things u see =X
but then everytime i start to panic a TA will walk pass n i will cry out for help haha
n once they do sth my solution will magically restore to normal XD
really grateful for them
but the whole experiment was super long!
it was supposed to end at 12pm...
but i finished at like 1215pm
n i had another lecture at 12pm!
plus no lunch!!
so....i rannnn over to the science canteen to buy curry puff n rannn across the road to the lecture theatre
once there i was like catching my breath when i sat down
the IT lecture ended quite late as well...
n i have to rush all over to science again for my other lecture
really.....exercise lor =.="
by then i was super tired....n i had tutorial too!
so i skipped my taekwondo training...
i will die i tell u...if i have dance in between somemore
really...can die!
i was soo tired i couldnt wake up for lecture this morning >.<"
i am sooo lucky CM1121 has webcast!
n i can watch the lecture from right in my room! weee~~
but then i was so screwed up today that
i attended a tutorial that i was supposed to attend next week...
it's alternate week u see...im in group B
today's group A...
n i went......i was late =.=" cuz my IT tutorial ended late
n then i went in n sat down i was like....swt
cuz the tutor was the TA that helped me in my experiment alot...
so naturally he would recognize me
n he kept like pointing at me to answer cuz i was sitting in the front
when it was finally over n i wanted to sign the attendence sheet
only did i realize that...my name wasnt there
n then after careful thinking...shit!
i havent told him...i would have to...sooner or later =X
aihz....
oh well...lucky on friday i dont have lectures...
n i dont have lab tmr! still i have 2 hours of english
n it'll be a bz day tmr =X
i finally decided! that i would go for the AGM for the astronomy thingy

I've been very busy lately...
Out after i wake up...only back at night...
when i'll be dead tired...n knock out when i touch my bed
on the rare nights that i have the energy to study...
it'll take up all my time...n then i'll just sleep after that
no time n no mood to blog u see =(
anyway...i'm back early today...
cuz my tutorials for some modules havent start yet...
oh...i have English u see...
it's quite fun larh...
in a way im glad that i had to take it
cuz i'll be learning scientific writing n stuffs...
n how to write papers THEIR style...
n it's quite insulting during the 1st class cuz the lecturer kept saying...

Bloggie.....
my feet hurts...my butt hurts...my back aches...
my toe seems to be getting blacker by the day
to simplify it...my whole body aches!!!
omg.......
i start from the starting lah k?
as the new academic year commences....of cuz there would be CCAs
erm...co-curricular activities...
i've been quite inactive in CCA's for quite some time...
but here rite....1 reason is i need to collect points in order to stay in campus after year 2
but the main point is not that lah...
i dont wanna study study study nia...very sien ok
i need activities!!
can have fun...can know more ppl mar =)
god knows how lonely m i here....
ok...so there's like a few welcome teas here n there these few weeks
ehh...not a few...is alot =.="
few overlapping ones at the same time slot lerh
it's like a welcome tea with presentation n refreshments lor
so erm...i was quite interested in a few...
on weds i went for the Dance Blast! welcome tea =D
it's hip hop dancing...n they had a free class yesterday
really not bad lor their dancing n stuffs...
too advanced for me =X im just a noob lerh!
the worst part was.......
they r having an audition!!!! AUDITION!!!!
n im going to try out for the dance audition!!!
OMG I CANT BELIEVE MYSELF!!!
my 1st ever audition in my whole life....
n it's for hip hop advanced class...
shit....wat have i got myself into =X
the free hip hop class was too advanced n too fast for me....
i know i suck in it =(
n my whole body was aching since i woke up this morning!!
still.....im gonna go try lah

n yesterday i went for the rovers adventure club welcome tea...
it's basically an adventure club lah...go trekking camping etc etc
u know wat? their trekking mostly done in malaysia =.="
not that im insulting lah...
but then they really dono much bout m'sia =X
cuz they showed us the 1st video.....
n they said 'so this is when we went to this place Bekilah'
i was like har? bekilah? where is that?
then i saw 1 of the pics 'Hutan Lipor Berkelah'

then the nx 1...'so we also went to Datuk'

they said it's a very Famous place in Malaysia...

i already put my name in...but there's another adventure club
so i'll attend d welcome tea for the ODAC 1st...
at the same time as the rovers..there's this astronomical society welcome tea
i wanted to go for both!!! u see!!!!
that's y...can only attend 1...
but lucky my friend went for the other one...
ehh i love astronomy lerh....i aspired to be a cosmologist until i was like 16 =X
i love the night sky...the stars...etc etc
very romantic ok =P
anyway....i ended up signing up for the NUSAS too =D
cuz the welcome tea for both were just side by side
so i just go nx door to register lor =)
they have like star gazing activities...astro bash...etc etc
today.....
even with my whole body aching n my feet refusing to walk properly...
i went to the taekwondo welcome tea =.="
when they say welcome tea....i really thought it was a welcome tea!
but then...when we went in........
everybody was like in their lines n waiting for us to line up
somemore the instructor was shouting at us!! @@"
n we straight away train...just like that...sweatz
it's been so so soooo long since i last trained or stretch myself...
i cannot even do splits ady....omg...
plus my legs were hurting from the dance class...
n after a while only they did some briefing...
they separate us into those learnt b4 n not...n from where wat belt...
i told him i was black...then quickly said i stopped a long long time ago
he just said 'aiyah nvm lah!'
err...wats that supposed to mean ah? >.<"
after that we resumed training...n i had to follow the main class!!
wahseh really forgot alot alot ady lerh...
plus....the names n styles r diff from wat i learnt at home
at home i know this kick from the side as turning kick...
n the kick in front as front kick...
but when he said front kick everybody's doing turning kick =.="
plus their backswing kick is called reverse kick...
aiyoh....so blurrr....
somemore the black belt senior was teaching me another style >.<"
im not used to it lerh......
lucky their training was not as bad as wat i gone tru last time...
that was like hell...especially for the black belts @@"
still...i decided to join =)

but the bad thing is...training is on weds !!!!!

the 9am-7pm day!!!!
the day i am going to be sooooo dead!!!!!!! T.T
n then the training will be at 730pm to 930pm
so practically...it's 9am to 930pm
without lunch break...n dinner at like 10pm
damn.....

cuz im planning on going to a few other welcome teas...
of cuz i wont join all larh =.="

MY TIMETABLE ON WEDNESDAY IS LIKE
9am to 7pm STRAIGHT!! BACK TO BACK!!!
yes...u guessed it right
no lunch break.
sot 1 rite....SIAO larh...
cuz rite...i actually arranged for my organic chem to be on thursday afternoon...
just nice larh my timetable...
but then rite...when i tried to bid for the practical
it was FULL by the time i logged in
SWEAT!
i didnt know it was a 1st come 1st serve basis!
FULL!!!!!!
others all clash...
i can only put on 9am-12pm on weds
then 12-7pm i got lecture n tutorials lined up ady

after like 4 hours or wat i wont be concentrating anymore
my concentration will drop rapidly...

after it was over at 10 i went to check out the lounge with my friend
n a senior joined us later on...
n we ended up sitting there chatting till around 2am @@"
didnt realize time past so fast lerh....
i oso quite shock when i saw the time at around 1am+
but the thing was.....they both ended up teaming up to zha me!!!!
omg....keep on bomb n bomb n bomb me lerh!

quite fun lah cuz i laughed alot...until my jaw n tummy hurts
it's been a long long time since i laughed like that XD

Dear bloggie...
my life is so so hectic at the moment!
i have practically no time for myself =(
n to think that i didnt take japanese it's already killing me
really dare not imagine wat would happen otherwise...
plus...it's only lectures this week!!
tutorials n labs still havent start lerh...
it's gonna be much more worse in the weeks to come =X
furthermore...i havent attended any CCAs yet...
just imagine wat it would be like...
ten folds worse! >.<"
so far...i've been to the lectures of all my modules...
im taking 5 this sem...
mostly the 1st lectures are like introduction of the course larh...
but some started lecturing the main content ady!!
to tell u the truth...
im trying really hard to catch up with the lectures...
i'll go 1 by 1 la har...
i have 3 core modules from my faculty
CM1121 Basic Organic Chemistry
oh god...chemistry again...1 of my worst n weakest subjects! =X
somemore it's organic chemistry!
eeekk.....allthose alkanes alkenes... im so gona die!
in the 1st lecture itself the lecturer started teaching already
i got a china mainland lecturer....he has the accent
but not as bad cuz he's been to US n sort...
so it's still understandable
at 1st it looks okay...much like a review of wat i've learnt b4...
once he started talking about sp3 n sp2 orbitals.........dot dot dot
i never learn b4!!!! but all those A lvls ppl n the JC ppl all did
n the lecturer assumed everybody knew bout them
so he just like skimmed past thost parts...
omg....i was sooo blur....didnt understand T.T
i had to study when i got back to my room at night
ignoring the fatigue inside me...
n at last after a few hours i got it completely...
after some help from wikipedia of cuz =P
LSM1101 Biochemistry of Biomolecules
i had this lecture today...n this is by far the most interesting lecture i had!!
we have this cool lecturer who speaks in american accent =D
sooo much nicer listening to him speak u know lolx...
n he brought DNA to class n distributed it to us @@"
real DNA mind u....
we got it in a small tube n inside it looks like tissue paper
at 1st most of us didnt believe it was real DNA
when he did some experiment in front of the whole class...
we were like...WOW! @@"
he asked us to feel the DNA...abit sticky when u try to pull it apart lolx...
then he did the experiment by adding water inside...
it really dissolved lerh! n it became viscous....
by that time we all believed it was DNA ady....
then he added salt n ethanol inside...
n voila! the DNA undissolved!! @@"
he took the pen n dip it in n pull up like sticky gels of DNA lerh..
super cool wei!
n nx week...he's gona show us how to make scrambled eggs without using heat!
cant wait for his lectures =D
but the down side was...he spoke abit too fast for me to comprehend
n he skipped alot larh...he's not the average lecturers
as i had =.="
they just read from the slides...almost word by word
but this 1...he explained it in his own way...
u really have to understand the contents of the lecture before going to class =(
still..even though i was blur most of the time...i enjoyed the lecture XD
LSM1102 Genetics. Analysis and Principles
gosh...this lecture...i dono wat to say larh
it's like...ok i had this china mainland lecturer again...
but this time his accent was soo heavy n he was having problem speaking english =X
he have to think a while of the word he's trying to express to us...
n he speak very slowly...
that's a good thing though...cuz it gives us time to interpret wat he's trying to tell us
u know how he pronouce Eggs? Eckas.... =.="
i spent like sooo much time interpreting wat he's trying to say...
n when in the end i understand wat he's talking...
i have no time to interpret wat he's trying to tell us =.="
must think a long time n string those words together 1 lerh.....
luckily it was still alright in the 1st lecture where he talked about mitosis n meiosis...
i had no probs until the last part...
where he talked bout other systems of sex determination
some XO system n the haplo-diploid system n the morgan experiment...
i was lost!!! i dont know how to answer the questions....sob
i did some studying back at my room...
but i still have a long way to go =X too tired.....
n then i took 2 other modules
GEK1543 Chemistry of the Ocean
this is my gem...i have to take 2 gems to fulfil university requirements...
this module ah......everything's bout Ocean Appreciation =.=
this was actually my 1st lecture....
it's.....okay larh...
quite interesting =D
i actually was fascinated by the ocean when i was young...
she kept going on n on bout ocean appreciation n stuffs...
i actually dono how the content is yet...
wait till i have the lecture tmr larh =X
but the good part was she showed us documentary videos...
which definately caught my attention hehe...
still....it's a chemistry module!! T.T
chemistry!!!! why?!
i suck at chemistry....but this is the only module i can get with 1 point!
hopefully i dont do too bad in it =(
IT1001 Introduction to Computing
ehh! dont laugh at me larh!!
i know it sounds basic....
actually the contents are quite basic....
in fact...i learnt part of today's lecture in primary school's computer class =X
i took this...cuz i wanna see whether im interested enough to pursue a minor in Computer Science anot...
i was quite afraid that i would hate programming....
so i took this module to see whether i like it anot...n i can cope with it anot
plus...it would be a good foundation if i were to take up the computer sciences minor in the future =)
even though it sounds basic rite...
the contents...abit tough for me lerh...
hardwares...softwares...internet n stuff
i mean...i know the basic understanding larh...
but i dont know deep enough...n this is gona go deep inside =X
hopefully it wont go too bad =X
but the good thing is......i'll gain extra knowledge after the module rite =D
i can be more IT savvy....as the lecturer put it lol
if we wanna upgrade our comps we know wat to do now mar XD
well...that's all the 5 modules im taking currently...
n im gonna die...
i admit...coming to singapore really made me kiasu...

like in my lecture halls!!!

n they look sooo comfy in it

lolx....cuz other faculties also have their own mar
so to support my own faculty... =D
but still...it's abit ex lerh =X

standing under the sun from 2pm to 6pm is like...
confirm sunburn 1!! T.T
n then rite...i have the dark genes u see...
so it'll take forever for me to get back to my original skin colour
which is not considered fair also =.=" sob.....

today's the NUS Rag Day...
i say 1st arh...i no pics =X
not in a good place to take...somemore hard lerh
watch it on tv larh =P or i try to find the pics ppl took ok? =D
quite a big event u know...cuz it was held at the Padang...
err...something like the Merdeka Stadium of KL larh lolx...
they even sealed off part of the road for the VIPs n the floats @@"
n then the President of Singapore came as well...lol
me n Girl was very blur when we got there
cuz we didnt join any Science Fac orientation...
but we were wearing the blue science fac shirt lah...
n then we saw this hugeeee crowd of blues n we just blended in with them =P
it was scorching HOT...seriously...
typical cloudless day...full blast of the sunlight T.T
i was already burnt from the race n the jungle trekking...
plus today's 1 ah....aiyoh...u really should see me T.T
so we stood in a group beside the stage....cheering for science fac...
we were blur! seriously BLUR...they have their own cheer
n then we dono any of it....lolx...
when they shout i just look down n pretend to clap hahahaha =P
but we soon caught up with the cheers larh...
i can definately say we have the largest n loudest support group XD
really damn alot ppl n damn loud lerh...
we had a great leader lah...sitting on the ladder leading us...
the cheers were abit funny lerh some...

i was directly beside the thingy...

very interesting watching all those performance n floats u know
they really put lots of effort in it....
preparing 24/7 for the past 3 months....
doing the floats the props...practicing the dance
n they really dress up for it lerh...
nice costumes...paint their whole body n faces...
n got acrobatic moves somemore...
salute them =D
top class performance lerh...
really an eye opener for me...
well..the science fac float was good...the best i must say
n we won the most creative n the best float XD
but too bad we didnt win the best overall =(
err.....i dont feel as sad larh
but many ppl cried...
maybe....for them...all their efforts...

it's just that it's a quiet stretch of road n the bus stop isnt exactly big either
n then they were talking in chinese so loudly ok!

n the gurl got more heated up...
n she said 'so....this is the end for us?'

Dear bloggie........
im up early =D cannot believe it lerh lolx...
actually i slept like 12am last night...
n woke up at 11+ today =.="
so im still a pig larh!!! sleep so long...OMG
anyway....yesterday i went out the wholeeee day...
so tiring...
but it was fun though =)
in the morning i went for a trip to MatRitchie Reservoir XD
very rare lerh to see nature in singapore...
it was a long n tiresome trip.....really sia @@"
the 17 of us...including the alumni's took a bus there from clementi
n we begun our journey into the jungle...
i miss the nature sooo much...
used to walk into the woods everyweek when i was young...
but i stopped doing that around 6 years ago =(
how im out of touch with nature u see....
but this trip brought back memories XD
the weather was just nice...as it rained early in the morning
n then the sun was hiding behind the clouds..
n the wind was just nice...
walking in the woods...breathing fresh air...
ahhhh.....really very refreshing from the hectic singapore life
we walked on n on until we reached the treetop walk
something like a suspension bridge...but made of steel
so not as fun larh...cuz it wont sway as much =P
anyway....we were all sooo tired after that...
after walking straight for 2 hours...our legs hurt alot!
n we ran out of energies to burn lolx...
n some ppl larh!! keep on talking bout roti prata there!!
eeshhh......making us more hungry nia /pif
eventually we made it out...at last!!!!
gosh...we ordered soo much in that prata shop haha...
when at last i got back to my own room i really wanted to sleep like that lerh
but cannot...cuz i had to go out after that =(
i only had a few mins rest on my bed n then i had to go out again!
n then my big toe hurts like hell
u know why?
cuz it's bleeding under the nail =X
it was hurting since after the colours of singapore race
n it was getting worse day after day
but then i didnt realize it was bleeding...until yesterday =(
can see blood clots under my toenails u know T.T
n when i was jungle-trekking it hurt like hell too /sob
anyway....as i was saying =P
i went out again....this time to my uncle's house in Simei
such a long journey......
spent time with them watching tv n chatting n stuffs =)
watched the Singapore NDP live on their big big plasma tv...
quite interesting watching how singaporean's celebrate their national day
n then it hit me that i didnt even know how malaysian's celebrate our national day =.="
didnt bother to watch on tv...sweatz
somemore i just found out that singapore has a president @@"
lolx...didnt know b4 that...i thought only got prime minister haha...
ahh well...i went cycling after that too!!
gosh i miss cycling....i used to cycle almost everyday when i was young XD
n kept upgrading my bikes as i grew older...
i think i changed 5 bikes sia lolx...
when i was cycling the feelings rushed back to me...
the wind lapping on my face...the thrill of going downhill fast =D
i wanna cycle again!
well...that's about it for last night...
as for today........
im monitoring the bids in CORS
i was thinking...maybe i should just give up japanese n take IT instead
there's still vacancy u know...n im bidding for 1 point only
plus.......if i take up IT my timetable wouldnt be as hectic n crazy
it would be just nice u know....with free times in between
maybe it would be better for me...
since i need time to settle down to the studying life here rite?
aih...see 1st larh...

OMG!!!!
i got outbidded by 1 point!!!
ONE miserable point!
my japanese language module T.T
i wanan cry ady...............
u know wat....very kan cheong lerh today...
cuz the open bidding closes at 1pm...
then close bidding starts from 1pm til 5pm...
open bidding u still can see the next minimum bid to secure a place
but close bidding u totally cannto see the min bid le lerh
meaning bid blindly n hoping u got more than other ppl
the thing is...
during the close bidding...
i was contemplating how much to put between the jap module n the gem
cuz the gem still 1 point...but i scared if more ppl keep taking then i mar wont get!
10 mins before the bidding closed i changed
1 point for the gem
399 points for the jap
that's the maximum i can afford as i have only 400 points
when the result came out just now
omg...i just saw that word....
Outbidded....

yer...
then i saw the statistics on the web
omg!!!! really speechless
if i kena beaten by alot points nvm lo

CORS is a stupid bidding system used in NUS to bid for modules...
OK lah it's an efficient system in terms of allocating modules to ppl
but then...unfair for us freshmen lerh!
see it works like this...
lets say u take 5 modules a sem...
n for my life sciences major now...they allocate us 3 core modules
meaning 3 of the modules set ady 1...cannot change...
then must take 2 more extra...
be it singapore studies, general education modules, breadth modules...etc etc
those extra ones that u take to fulfil ur graduation requirements larh...
nothing to do with the faculty...
just anything u wanna take or u have interest in
like me...im taking japanese language module =D
cuz it's free rite...n then not bad wat...
n then another 1 im taking is some general education modules
so i have to bid for those 2 lor...
but rite...
the thing is...im just from 1st sem...
n i got like 400 points in that account
whilst the seniors in year 3 or 4 have accumulated like 2k+ points lerh!
then how?!
is like damn stupid rite................
of cuz they win le mar!
how to beat them =.="
like lets say...
the japanese class i wanna take has only 95 vacancies...
n there r like 130 ppl bidding..
so of cuz many ppl wanna put higher than the min bid point to ensure that they r in the top 95 bidders mar...
so the min bid point keep increasing...
now it's like 200+ points ady!!!! T.T
how!! the bidding only close tmr lerh!
b4 the bidding close sure skyrocket up 1 =(

Hello!
i got the pictures ady =D
so here's the post...
on saturday 4 Aug i participated in this Colours of Singapore Race
something like amazing race larh
where u run around singapore solving clues n completing tasks n so...
Girl n Su Ee was supposed to go with me 1...
but both ffk me!!! even though they paid for it /pif
lucky Sherly went with me
still......they group us randomly
so at around 830am we went there to register n pick numbers for our group
sherly got like 3 ppl she knew in her group
n im the only 1 left out!!! T.T
she was like 'nvm lah can know more guai lou mar!'
oh boy...there's no better way to say it =.="
as it turned out...
my group was like...one of the few with almost alll foreigners lerh!
by foreign i meant....westerns larh =.="
at least other groups there were like few m'sians n china ppl etc...ezier mar
mine not!!! T.T
the thing is....it's good lah know more international students
but then!!! very hard to talk lerh!!
can talk lah.....can communicate n talk formally
but.................
cannot chit chat n talk naturally n laugh n all...
cuz the way we speak is like soo diff...i cannot speak the way i normally speak to ppl...
n then kept like
'sorry?'...'excuse me?'...'pardon?'
talk a few sentences then end of conversation ady... =.="
so sanfu T.T
anyway...we sat chartered bus to boat quay where we went for a river cruise
lemme intro u to my group...Team 13
from left we have Angela from USA, Sebestian from Germany, G...Gu...G....(i dono how to pronouce his name =.=" forget it lah just call him Mr. G) from Spain, n ME from malaysia =P, Sarah one of the organizer, Lance from USA, Muaz from Pakistan, team leader Jerome from Malaysia too, n Sarah from USA
soo...we started the race after we landed where Stamford Raffles landed in 1819 LOL
we were given clues as to where to head for the next destination
i say 1st larh....dont bomb me ah...
westerners r more...laid back...
where we r more err...competitive...kiasu u might say =.="
Race mar!!! the whole race i was the only 1 solving most of the clues
n they just followed wherever we said we where going...
somemore ah...cuz im the only malaysian in my team
n i've been to singapore for the past...err...4 years?
so i'm quite familiar with that place...the bonus ques i could answer all
but my team leader...he was supposed to guide us
he dont let me answer!!!! wat is this!!!!!!!!
i m a contestant too ok! im part of the team
if i know the answer...of cuz i can tell them n teach them rite?!
wat for ask strangers on the road if 1 of ur team members knows the answer
like very dumb rite....
but then he was like 'u dont wanna let them have fun mer?'
wat larh.....really zhar dou lerh =.="
wats so fun bout asking strangers on the streets?
it's a race ok! takkan i just stand there watch them blur blur kah? hmmphhh...
okok forget that...
our 1st destination was Little India
n we were given clues to solve...
that 1 really have to ask ppl lah...
we must like ask them bout the spices...flowers...find some indian word...find elephants..
n after completing all the answer we have to go back n get another clue
there's me n Muaz asking some guy bout err....indian sweets n confectionaries
here's the elephant!
the next stop was the national monument i think? in city hall...
once we got there we had to play traditional games
this 1 i know how to play le larh...
so naturally i gave them the chance...n kinda taught them how to play
err...i dono wat is this called...but then u throw the thingy up then u scoop the ones on the floor n catch the 1 u threw...lol
then we had to kick the...err....thingy with the bulu..
something like sepak takraw lah but is a small thing with bulu...
like kick it 3 times without letting it drop
wahlau! i suck in it lerh!! tried soooo many times till i got it right T.T
even those kuai lou oso better than me...
soo xia sui!
after that we went to makan at raffles city mall...
after makan...i forgot lerh...
i think we went to errr....
back to the place we landed
the landing site of stamford raffles...
we have to perform a sketch on how stamford raffles found the island singapore =.="
i was the narrator...cuz i knew the story ady n explained to them wat to do
the bad thing is
we had to find a tourist n perform it for him!!! omg...so xia sui!
but we did it....
but there were more to come =.=
must walk around n find for clues...
sooo tiring...by that time the kuai lous all lack behind jor
left me n the muaz to run around finding for the answers
we spent quite a while there...
after that we went to rochor centre...
looked for prices of items in Fairprice NTUC...
n then went to kuan im temple...
there we had to sell ice creams!!!!
omg....like must pull ppl to buy ice creams lerh =.="
very xia sui lor...
i kept like 'hi!! we're in a contest...can u help us by buying that ice cream over there? it's only 50 cents? thx thx...'
the kuai lou all stand together doing nothing
while i kept going to aunties n uncles with kids
alot of them like reject me T.Tsomemore rite....i went to ask a guy on the street the meaning of 'the older the ginger, the hotter it is'we had to find out how to pronouce it in chinesei never hear b4 mar this proverb!! T.Tthen he was like '越老越辣'i dont understand still lerh...somemore ask him wat it meanthe was like 'HAR?! u dono wat it means arh?!! U CHINESE ANOT?!'OMG! super xia sui!!!! T.The said till like i embarass all the chinese ppl liddat....never hear b4 wat!! cannot blame me ok! T.T
oh well...we ran out of time then...
our last stop was Ang Mo Kio =.="
this stop super dumb!
we must count the steps of some overhead bridge
n then plus, minus, multiply, divide etc to get the final answer
n then we had to go to that HDB block!!
we didnt count some steps n got the answer wrong
we went alllll the way to 322 when it was 426
super far lerh!!!
omg....very dumb ler!
wat if some ppl got the wrong answer n had to sit bus to 7xx to find that it's the wrong place
eeshh...
the final stop there they had to eat durians!
gosh....by the time i got there...
super tired ady...cannot walk anymore...it was almost 7!
naturally we didnt win...
quite behind u know...
but still...it's alright lah =)
i get to go places that i've never been b4...
n i get to know some international friends! =)
but then super tired lerh..
until now my leg still hurts alot!
we had to go back to PGP from ang mo kio =.=
took us 1 hour to get back........by ourselves!!
i was kinda alone after that...
n sarah n angela n 1 more guy from US didnt know how to get back so they followed me
the good thing was...
they invited me to party @@"
u know that kind of party for westerners....
n after that they plan to go clubbing at the Ministry of Sound lerh!!
LOL....all exchange students 1...
i was like...err........
nvm lor >.<" even though it's a good chance a party lerh!! clubbing somemore!! with those kuai lous somemore!! still....i go alone with them not so good bah 1st 1st quite dangerous rite...then i dono them well oso... then i 1 malaysian with a whole group of westerners....sure very awkward n weird 1 so.... i went back to take a nice long bath... n then u know the story =D kesimpulannya... (omg i keep saying kesimpulannya =.=" daniel larh! i read his blog n it infected me!!) the race was a good experience! =)

i feel soooo refreshing now!!
super syok lerh after a round of cold bath... =D
i just got back from the Colours of Singapore Race
sth like the amazing race
where i ran around Singapore solving clues n taking pictures
the whole day!! can u believe it!! from around 9am til 7pm =.="
n now my feet aches soo much i practically couldnt walk T.T
anyway...i'll blog on that later when i get the pics =)
for now...
i'll just stick to the topic =X
that happened last night i think...
i woke up kinda late n there was this cross-cultural awareness programme at 630pm
n i got there at like 710pm...super late lerh =.="
i also feel paiseh going in so late >.<"
but no choice cuz my friends were there n all
the thing is...i got quite shock when i went in cuz
everywhere i see...they're all foreigners...
ok lah im a foreigner too but...
by foreigner i meant really foreign...
as in half of the auditorium all angmoh...
n another half were like from korea, china, vietnam etc etc...
not many malaysians lerh....
n the lecturer was talking bout Singlish n the culturals n customs of Singapore
he was like 'u malaysians can understand singlish so u shouldnt be here' =.="
how were we supposed to know...eeshh...
anyway...we sat there til like 8+ n after that they provide free food...
is like kuih muih n light refreshments to let the international students sample =X
but then by that time i was super hungry
cuz i didnt eat since i woke up...which was like 7 hours ago...
n all my friends wanted to go back after that =.="
but there was this group of seniors who wanna go makan at Fong Seng
so.....
actually i just knew some of them at the sampling session itself...
n then i know 1 or 2 the day before...
plus more joined us on the way there...
but then i still followed them @@"
LOL.....
geng lerh.....super thick face rite =P
no lah...supposedly we were all like gathering around...
with my close friends too
but then suddenly all...'eh i dowan to go lah...byebye!'
then left me alone there sia!!
i cannot dont go cuz i was starving! T.T
so i went with them lor...
luckily the seniors were all very friendly...
a few were alumi's...they graduated n r working outside now sia...
so the....err...10+ of us went to makan haha
it was...okay larh... =)
really lorh....cuz the alumni's were talking n telling us things
n we were listening n all...
most of them didnt makan =.=" only me n 2 more...
n i got lots of information from them =D
really good information that will definately help me in NUS...
n then i get to know a few seniors here as well
hehe...quite fun lorh really...
n we went back just in time to catch the last bus back to PGP @@"
all in all...
im glad that i went =D
can know more ppl n then can know alot info lerh!
it'll be nice if there's a nx time =)

lol is like everyday go out 1...not 1 day stay in my room 1 wor =X
n now...outside got the welcome fest finale
n they r dancing to the music =D
i was there a while...until all my friends went back =(

okies...update on my life here...
so far...havent start lor my lectures...
i think starting on 13 aug or sth liddat =.="
dont remember lah sorryyyy....
had my registration on tuesday...
well...liddat lor...register n all...
after that i went to the matriculation fair
wahh.....the whole hall all filled with booths from diff clubs n societies n etc...
i was alone that time...they keep giving goodie bags n fliers
my 1 hand holding file ady...another hand holding the heavy goodie bag
then ppl keep attacking me @@" with fliers...
join this...join us...bla bla bla...
chucking fliers to me from left n right
until like both my side got ppl fighting for my attention
n then i dono wanna turn left or right...like both waiting for me to choose them =.="
just walk away better lolx...
n then kept giving goodie bags n all...sweatz
by the end of it i was holding like 5 bags in my hand n files n alot of papersss
my hand damn pain lor after i got back...
n u know wat i found in those goodie bags? =.="
got...green tea!! a heavy heavy magazine *that's y lah the bag so heavy!*
n then got err...fliers n handbooks n keychains n lots more lah
the thing that shocked me most was
they gave perfume!!!! =.="
ehh...not normal cheap perfumes ok!
is some Amor pour homme and Ralph Lauren HOT! =.="
lolx...so cute hor?
erm...i opened a bank account...
n then got a new singapore line =)

n then now i wanna take =.="
cuz other minors not nice ady mar...i dont like!
n im quite interested in computing mar...
aih....prolly gona pull my grades down =(
but...heck! wats life without taking risks!
n then got somemore i tell u...
im taking....japanese =.="
LOL...cuz free rite?! so wat for pay for courses outside when i can just take for free rite?
ok lah maybe its gona pull my grades down too...
but then....if everything take safe n ez 1...
where's the challenge...where's the fun?

n oh...i kinda failed my QET...so i gotta take an extra english course =.=
ok lah i admit i was disappointed n sad =(
but then...since the result is like this...i gotta accept my weakness rite =)
at least now i know my english is not as good ady...
the bad thing is got extra 4 hours every week =.=
n that makes my timetable pack like hell
cuz 1 sem need to take like 5 modules average mar...
the english course not counted =.= so its like taking 6 modules but only only 5 counted for d credits T.T
i gotta bid for my modules as well...n choose the timetable
so im like constructing my own timetable...
very the hard ok!
n some general education modules like the Science of Music n Understanding the Universe...
i wanna take but cannot T.T somemore no exam 1 lerh!
cuz clash with all my other major modules
so no choice cannot take =.="

n after like 3 hours of trying to build my timetable...
at last i found a solution! eeshh....
but the bad thing is...tuesday i have like 7 hours of class!!!!!
n then 5 hours non stop until 7pm!!!!! T.T
SOB!!!!! gona die lah...no break lerh!!
n then friday i have like 4 hours of LAB from 10am to 2pm
no lunch le larh =.= is either breakfast or tea....
that's y i dowan to put anything else on friday jor...
help!!!!!!!
eee...i wanna go down n dance lah...
